Event Details

Dear friend;

The organizing committee of the Mike Gregoire Memorial Golf Tournament are pleased to once again run our annual fundraising golf tournament. This year will celebrate our 11th annual tournament in honour of the late Mike Gregoire, a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many who miss him dearly.

In the first 10 years of our tournament, we have collected and redistributed over $120,000. Proceeds from this fundraising initiative will be directed to the Madison Ambos Rehabilitation Fund.

We are offering sponsorship opportunities and welcome your support and participation to help us to continue to serve our community.

We would also be honoured to have your playing participation in this year's tournament. Golfer registration fees have been set at $150.00 per player, which includes:

(1)   Green Fees with shotgun start at 11 AM

(2)   Power Cart

(3)   Welcome Gift Bag

(4)   Buffett Dinner Banquet

(5)  Silent Auction/50/50 Draw and Door Prizes

(6)   Hole in One/Specialty hole contests

On behalf of the charities that benefit from the generosity of our tournament participants, we appreciate your consideration of sponsorship, and hope you will be able to join us on the day, for some great fun while honouring Mike Gregoire’s desire in giving back to the community.

Yours truly,

Please contact either of the following committee members for any clarifications or additional information.

Charity of Choice

We are extremely grateful for the family we have who continue to graciously offer to include Madison in the fundraising efforts with the Mike Gregoire Memorial Golf Tournament. Madison continues to thrive due to the support she receives to access a wide range of therapies to support her growth.

This year, we are also including a "pay it forward" project initiated by Madison to support other children who access similar therapies. When Madison receives therapy, she will help another child receive therapy as well. Madison has partnered with a few of her therapists and organizations to identify children in need of financial support to help them continue to access the therapy they need. She will be the one to communicate to the families as a surprise when their sessions have been paid for and encourage them to also "pay it forward" whenever they feel it is possible.

We know this year the tournament will continue to look a little different, but we are happy that the tradition can continue of bringing family and friends together in memory of Mike, and to help Madison and friends continue on their journeys.

Madison is almost 8 years old and has made her biggest gains yet since the start of the pandemic, thanks to your support. She is able to independently walk in ALL environments – sidewalks, grass, indoors, dirt paths – this is truly amazing! She has been able to achieve this through the support of the MGMGT fundraising efforts to send her to Variety Village, summer camp, March of Dimes, massage therapy, aquatic therapy, hippotherapy and the list goes on. Madison will continue to be a part of these therapeutic opportunities for many more years, as her specialists believe she will continue to make progress until 10 years of age.

Recently, it has been recommended that Madison use nighttime braces to help with the prevention of additional muscle lengthening surgeries. These braces will help her stretch as she sleeps. Part of the funds donated from this year’s tournament will go towards her braces, in addition to her regular weekly therapies that help her walk. The funds will also support other children through Madison's "pay it forward" initiative.

Although we won’t be able to see everyone on the course and at dinner as we typically would each year, we want to thank each and everyone of you for your ongoing support. Madison is doing amazing things thanks to you.

Katherine, James, Madison and Jack
